About Norwood Montessori School

At Norwood Montessori School, we provide a rich, student-centered education for children ages 2 to 18. Rooted in the Montessori philosophy, our programs support every stage of development—intellectually, emotionally, and physically—within a nurturing and respectful environment.

We believe the first eight years of life are foundational. That’s why our early childhood programs emphasize exploration, independence, and hands-on learning. As students grow, our elementary and secondary programs build on that foundation with thoughtful academic challenges and real-world learning experiences.

Our Montessori Programs

We offer a continuum of Montessori education from toddlerhood through high school:

  • Toddler Program (18 Months – 3 Years)
    Gentle guidance and sensory-rich experiences foster independence, curiosity, and confidence.

  • Primary Classrooms (3 – 6 Years)
    Children explore language, math, practical life, and cultural subjects in a calm, structured setting.

  • Full-Day Private Kindergarten
    A full-time, Montessori-based alternative to traditional kindergarten, focused on whole-child development.

  • Elementary Program (1st – 6th Grade)
    Multi-age classrooms encourage collaboration and foster academic growth across disciplines.

  • Secondary Program (Ages 12 – 18)
    Designed for middle and high school students, our program builds critical thinking, leadership, and purpose through academic rigor and meaningful community engagement.
